So, it is important to sensitize them with problems the world is facing. In line with this view, we commemorated Literacy day by conducting a virtual assembly to educate the students of grade 3rd and 4th about literacy's significance and value by presenting speeches, poems, and PowerPoint. Onam is the biggest festival in the state of Kerala. It is the harvest festival celebrating nature's reward after a year of hard work by the farmers. It also marks the homecoming of the legendary King Mahabali. The beauty of the festivals lies in its secularism. The festivities last for over ten days. The Grade 2 Students were apprised with the knowledge of this festival through a special assembly. Our Young Presidians exuberantly participated in the assembly by giving speeches on the festival's importance and performing a dance on occasion. The students portrayed their understanding of the festival by intricately decorating Pookalam (Rangoli) in their homes and penning down their imagination in the beautiful scenes of a breathtaking snake boat race. The students took away a message of oneness and brotherhood that the festival signifies.

A letter is a type of grapheme, which is a contrastive unit in a writing system. The contemporary English-language alphabet consists of twenty-six letters, each of which corresponds to one or more sounds. To recapitulate the letters and their sounds in an exciting, simpler, more accessible, and innovative way, a fun-filled activity of making letter craft was being conducted in Grade prep students. Students made different letter animals in this activity, building their strong understanding of the letters and their sound. The reflection of the activity was visible when the students demonstrated their animal craft and the corresponding sound of that particular letter. Above all else, students had fun creating while learning the Alphabet.

Hibernation is a way for some animals to cope with the harshness of winter. They curl up in a safe place and stay there until winter is over. Animals that hibernate are known as hibernators, they include bats, hedgehogs, ground squirrels, etc. Students of grade IV, at Presidium, learned and understood the concept. To illustrate their understanding, they were given a research project in which each student was assigned to a hibernating animal that they needed to write about, their habitat where they hibernate, and their preparation before what happens to the body during hibernation. Students explored and recorded their observations of related animals and presented them in virtual classrooms. This, in turn, helped them to learn the skills associated with the inquiry and processes of science such as observing, measuring, hypothesizing, predicting, analyzing and communicating.
