The Indian rupee (INR) is the currency of India. INR is the International Organization for Standardization currency code for the Indian rupee, for which the currency symbol is ₹. Banknotes in India are currently being issued in the denomination of Rs 10, Rs 20, Rs 50, Rs 100, Rs 200, Rs 500, and Rs 2000. Students of Grade 1 Presidium were introduced to the Indian currency (Money) and they experienced how money is used. Students also identified the various coins and notes of the country. Students also experienced the different things that have different prices like gems, pencils, chocolate, etc. They were excited to show their learning through pasting fake currency notes and coins or by showing them in the online class. Students enjoyed this activity of money by presenting it on a chart and they were also excited to draw the symbol of the rupee.
