Holi is the festival of colours and is famous among people of India for the engaging rituals that include playing and throwing a splash of colours over each other, meeting friends and family, and enjoying a feast of delicious delicacies prepared on this occasion. To celebrate this festival, a Special Assembly was executed by the students of Presidium, wherein a beautiful skit was performed deciphering the importance of Holi and the safety measures required while playing Holi. Mesmerizing dance performances by the presidians also enthralled the audience. They were acquainted with the significance of the festival and the story behind the celebration. A short video on Prahalad and Holika Dahan was displayed to them. Emphasizing the need for precaution and safety, the young learners were advised to use herbal colours that were prepared with natural flowers. They were reflected upon the wastage of water during the Holi celebration and pledged to play dry Holi instead. The assembly ended on a note of high spirit and with the hope to eradicate the negativity from within and around us.
