Waste is an inevitable by-product of human life. It is commonly believed that incineration and landfill disposal represent preferred options in dealing with waste products; however, many wastes have the potential to be recycled or reused for some purpose or in some manner. Students of Grade IV have understood the waste management that associated environmental benefits, as they took the initiative to spread awareness about waste management in the neighborhood. They solidified their understanding about 3'Rs (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle) and requested society to practice them every day for a healthy environment as 3 R's are the three great ways to eliminate waste and protect our Earth. Through this project, they learned about the causes and consequences of waste disposal and highlighted the importance of waste prevention, reuse, and recycling. Recycling is one of the most visible solutions for combating the proliferation of waste.
