“The objective is not winning the competition. It’s to get students motivated” - John Murdock
Healthy competition inspires kids to do their best – not just good enough. When students compete they become more inquisitive, they strive to do more than is required. These abilities prepare children for future situations of all kinds. Important qualities like leadership, honesty, and grit, are imbibed the best through competition. Competition also teaches critical thinking, decision-making and problem solving and prepares a child to accept failures without losing self–esteem. The students of Grade Prep participated in a Show and Tell competition where they sharpened their oratory skills and gained confidence. They also gave important messages regarding our environment and taking care of things we use in our daily lives.
