"To save a girl is to save generations!"

International Day of the Girl Child is observed on October 11, to recognize girls and the unique challenges girls face around the world. It is a day that focuses attention on the need to address the challenges girls face and to promote girls empowerment and the fulfillment of their human rights,” A big part of education is to let the young generation; especially young women know they have a right. With this thought, the students of Presidium celebrated International Day for the Girl Child. The theme this year is “Digital Generation...Our Generation.” Students presented speeches, poems, and posters with slogan writing and had a lot of discussions for the same. Presidians demonstrated the challenges faced by women through role play. Towards the end of the celebration, the students pledged to spread and imbibe the concept of basic justice and gender equality.
