“Happiness is when what you think, what you say, and what you do are in harmony.” - M.K Gandhi
Presidium commemorated Bapu’s birthday with great zeal, enthusiasm, and patriotism. The special assembly held was a sincere endeavour by the Presidians to give a deep insight into the life of Gandhi Ji and encouraged them to think about his vision of ‘Swach Bharat.' The assembly began with the melodious songs ‘Raghupati Raghav Rajaram and ‘Sabarmati Ke Sant tune kar diya kamal' to pay a special tribute to our ‘Father of the Nation' which restored the ambiance with a feeling of patriotism for our country and gratitude towards Bapu. Students conveyed Gandhi’s ideology and contributions towards Indian independence excellently through various mediums like- songs, thoughts, dances, discussions, skits, etc. They showcased the role of Bapu in India’s struggle for freedom along with the growing awareness of the people about the cleanliness drive launched by the Indian Government, famously known as ‘Swach Bharat Abhiyan.' Towards the end, our young learners got motivated to imbibe the teachings of Gandhiji in their lives. The splendid event concluded by taking the oath of non-violence where the students solemnly put their hands on their hearts and promised themselves that they would inculcate the ideals of Gandhiji.
