Every year World Dance Day is celebrated on 29thApril, with an aim to encourage participation and education in dance through events and festivals held all over the world. This year the theme of World Dance Day was ‘Purpose of Dance’. Keeping the theme in consideration, Presidians also observed the day with unparalleled zest and zeal. Dressed in colourful attires, the students presented a myriad of performances that included dances such as Ganesh Vandana, free style, jazz, folk, Kathak, etc. Some of the students dressed up as famous dance personalities to extend their gratitude towards them. They even designed and shared posters and quotes about this incredible form of art. Overall, young Presidians and their teachers enjoyed a day full of rhythm, dance and creativity.
