"People without the knowledge of their history, origin, and culture are like a tree without roots." —Marcus Garvey
World Heritage Day is about preserving human heritage, diversity, and vulnerability of the world's built monuments and heritage sites. This day is celebrated to maintain the legacy and save the rich heritage given to us by our ancestors. Presidian's of Grade II presented a virtual assembly intending to throw light upon the heritage of India and a world wherein they discussed the Theme of World Heritage Day 2021, i.e., "Complex Pasts: Diverse Futures." Students discussed 'What is Indian Heritage and World Heritage.' They showed and discussed the Seven Wonders of the World. Presidians raised awareness about the relevance of rural landscapes, the challenges that encompass their conservation, the benefits these efforts provide, and how rural landscapes are intrinsically related to sustainable development. Students enthusiastically gave slogans, made posters and quotes to save the heritage of the nation.
