"Pure Water is the world's first and foremost Medicine."
We need to share responsibility for our community and protect natural resources provided to us by Mother Earth. With the increasing problems associated with water, it is essential to impart values to preserve our planet Earth early on. Keeping this in mind and linking it with today's scenario, students of Grade-4 and 5 represented a special virtual assembly where they explained to their peers the importance of water and the need to conserve it. The connotation of water and the theme of world water day 2021, "Valuing Water," was well - elucidated through the speeches, discussions, and PowerPoint presentations. Young learners made magnificent posters with slogans on water conservation and highlighted the importance of pure water on which life depends. The message was loud and clear that either we conserve water or learn to live without it. The assembly concluded with a pledge to make an effort to consciously ensure that we do not waste water and thereby save our planet Earth.
