"A brave, frank, clean-hearted, courageous, and aspiring youth is the only foundation on which the future nation can be built." - Swami Vivekanand
The National Youth Day is celebrated on 12 January every year on the birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda since 1985. The Government of India in 1984 declared that the young Indians should be inculcated with the ideals and principles of Swami Vivekananda so that they can contribute and help to develop the country judiciously. To propagate this belief, a special assembly on National Youth Day was held on 12 January to enlighten students of Presidium about the life, philosophy, and teachings of Swami Ji and how the right direction and decision-making of the youth would make it possible to bring about the desired changes in the world to make it a better place for all living beings. Enthusiast Grade IV students gave thought-provoking speeches, presented beautiful skits and energetic dance performances. Through this assembly, students were given a message that they should follow Swami Vivekanand's ideology to make their lives successful and contribute to making India a proud nation.
