“Food is not just eating energy. It’s an experience”- Guy Fieri.
For some people, Food is just a necessity to satisfy basic needs; for some people Food is a pleasure that plays a significant role in their understanding of happiness. As India is a huge country, it is practically impossible to visit every state and city for a culinary experience; therefore, Presidians of Grade-1 organized an Indian food festival consisting of delicious Indian Food to refresh drinks to mouth watering desserts. The main objective behind the event was making the children aware of the names of various food items and the cultures they come from. The students showcased not only the cuisines of different states but also different items reflecting the culture of that particular state. Presidians presented a handpicked list of food items of varied Indian states from north to south and from west to east. The special workshop was a perfect amalgamation of Food, fun, and learning for the leaders of tomorrow.
