Quantification is one of the first mathematical skills that children learn. It begins very early in life, well before counting and number identification. Quantification is the ability to identify sets of objects by automatic recognition. Sometimes it is called subitizing. Our nursery students have showcased their learning of the concept through hands-on experience of the activity. The learning of our aspiring mathematicians is evident through their depictions and representations. The students enjoyed the activity in a fun-filled manner.
