To celebrate the spirit of tourism and reflect on tourism's importance to global well-being, Presidium celebrated World Tourism Day under the theme Tourism and Rural Development. Students of Grade -3 presented the virtual assembly intending to show different cultures. The students beautifully dressed up in their state's traditional attire left no stone unturned to showcase the culture, traditions, and geographical features of their states. The students spoke about the state they were representing. Our proud Presidians took an opportunity to address how tourism can provide jobs and economic empowerment outside of big cities. They highlighted the vital role tourism plays in preserving and promoting culture and heritage all around the world.
